• Barb and Bill will play one of the first musical performances at the gloriously rehabbed Paradise Center for the Arts in downtown Faribault, Minn., on Saturday, Aug. 17, opening for bluegrass standouts Jack Lawrence, Jon Garon and John Wheat. We'll do a full 35- to 40-minute set of our favorites. Tickets are available at the above website; bring a gang and come on down! • Barb and Bill attended the world's best guitar camp, the Swannanoa Gathering, July 27-Aug. 2 at Warren Wilson College in Asheville, N.C. The weather was great, the scenery divine and the music-making was heavenly! Everyone even remotely interested in guitar should make a pilgrimage someday! We do house concerts, too. • Bill performed recently at the grand opening of the Bayport Cookery's new wine bar, and will be back in Bayport on a recurring basis.
